BC Ferries cancels Comox-Powell River round trip due to high winds

BC Ferries has cancelled the following Salish Eagle sailings due to adverse weather conditions (high winds):

3:25 pm departing Little River

5:15 pm departing Powell River

According to an advisory from BC Ferries, the safety of passengers and crew is of primary importance.

“We don’t take the decision to cancel sailings lightly, as we know customers rely on us to get to their destinations,” the advisory states. “We will resume service as soon as it is safe to do so. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience experienced as a result of these cancellations.”
