BC Ferries has announced the cancellations of two round-trip sailings between Little River (Comox) and Westview (Powell River) terminals.
According to BC Ferries, due to wind speeds outside of its safety parameters, Salish Orca will not run for the following sailings on January 1 due to adverse weather conditions.
3:25 pm departing Comox (Little River)
5:15 pm departing Powell River (Westview)
7:10 pm departing Comox (Little River)
8:45 pm departing Powell River (Westview)
Customers with bookings on the impacted sailings will have their bookings cancelled and fees refunded, and service will resume as soon as it is safe to do so, according to BC Ferries.
