BC Ferries issued a notice at 5:55 am on Sunday, August 13, cancelling two Island Discovery round trips between Blubber Bay Terminal (Texada Island) and Westview Terminal (Powell River) due to an insufficient number of crew members being available in order for the vessel to sail.
The cancelled sailings are as follows:
6 am departing Blubber Bay (Texada Island)
6:50 am departing Westview (Powell River)
7:50 am departing Blubber Bay (Texada Island)
8:35 am departing Westview (Powell River)
Service is expected to resume with the 9:20 am departure from Blubber Bay.
