BC Ferries has cancelled the last round trip of the day between Powell River and Vancouver Island on Saturday, May 14.
The 7:15 pm from Comox and the 8:45 pm from Powell River will not run.
BC Ferries said the crew of the Queen of Burnaby will be deploying emergency evacuation equipment for regulatory and training purposes.
Service will resume with the 6:30 am sailing from Comox on Sunday, May 15.
