BC Ferries has posted new ferry schedules on its website.
In November 2013, the ferry corporation announced it would make a 16-per-cent cut to services for all routes to and from Powell River.
Changes for Westview terminal in Powell River to Little River in Comox come into effect April 28, 2014 and are in place until June 24. After that date, a summer schedule will be put in place until a fall/winter one comes into effect on September 2 through March 31, 2015.
For Saltery Bay to Earls Cove there is a revised schedule in effect from April 28 to May 14 when it changes again. The summer schedule goes into effect June 24. There are seven schedule changes up to March 31, 2015.
For Westview to Blubber Bay on Texada Island, there will be a new schedule from May 12 onward. There will be a different schedule for Monday to Friday and on the weekend.
