An adjustment has been made to facilitate smoother transit between the qathet region and Lower Mainland.

A media release from BC Transit indicates that effective October 12, scheduled times for the route 12 Stillwater bus that goes to Saltery Bay Ferry Terminal are being adjusted to match BC Ferries’ Saltery Bay-Earls Cove route to ensure customers can connect to ferry sailings. Customers who need transportation from Earls Cove can book with the Sunshine Coast Connector service at sunshinecoastconnector.ca

The route 14 Lund route schedule is also being adjusted to connect and will operate two days a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The release states that BC Transit also reminds customers that in alignment with the provincial health officer and WorkSafeBC, face coverings are required on all BC Transit buses, and are encouraged at bus stops.
