BCCDC: Four COVID-19 cases reported in the qathet region from August 1 to 7

Total is up from one case during the July 24 to 31 reporting period

BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) reported four COVID-19 cases in the Powell River local health area from August 1 to 7.

In each of the previous two reporting periods (July 25 to 31, and July 18 to 24), one case was reported.

The previous five weekly reporting periods (July 11 to 17; July 4 to 10; June 27 to July 3; June 20 to 26; and June 13 to 19) resulted in no coronavirus cases in the qathet region.

The cumulative total of positive COVID-19 cases for the local health area from January 2020 through July 2021 is 97, according to BCCDC.
