At 11:10 am on July 25, police responded to a theft of bike complaint at the Willingdon Beach Campground in the 4800 block of Marine Avenue. A member of the public called in shortly after to report a known prolific offender riding a possible stolen bike on Joyce Avenue.

Police located and arrested Tristan Lambert for possession of stolen property under $5,000 and breach of probation for being within the 4300 block of Joyce Avenue, contrary to a court-ordered probation order.

Lambert was held in custody for a bail hearing, but released the following day by a provincial court justice. He is to appear in court again in August.
