Powell River Regional District’s Electoral Area B official community plan (OCP) has been amended to re-designate a property’s zoning.
At its April 23 meeting, the regional board gave third reading and unanimous final adoption to OCP Bylaw Amendment Bylaw 465.2. In doing so, it indicated the board’s support for the application to amend the bylaw to re-designate Lot 1, DL 5129, Plan EPP41950 (located at 4540 Claridge Road) from Rural Residential to Suburban Residential.
Patrick Brabazon, regional board chair and Electoral Area A director, said there had been a public hearing held on Monday, April 20, and there were two people in attendance.
“The meeting lasted six minutes,” he said. “There was no discussion and input.”
