City of Powell River council approved a $38,000 cash grant from the Powell River Community Forest Reserve Fund for Powell River Action Centre Food Bank to purchase a new cargo van. The vehicle, which has food bank, community forest and city logos printed on its sides, will allow the food bank to expand its services.
