BC Ferries has announced that the scheduled 9:55 am Salish Orca departure from Little River (Comox) Terminal to Westview (Powell River) Terminal will be delayed due to a crewing issue. The sailing will depart at approximately 11:45 am.
The return trip from Powell River will now leave at approximately 1:25 pm.
A specific number of crew members is required on board the vessel to ensure the safety of passengers in the unlikely event of an emergency and to comply with Transport Canada regulations, according to BC Ferries.
