Ferry passengers planning to take the last Malaspina Sky trip from Earls Cove (Sechelt Peninsula) to Saltery Bay (Powell River) on August 11 will face an 80 minute delay, which will come in handy for those travelling from Horseshoe Bay.

The sailing, scheduled to depart at 10:30 pm, will leave at approximately 11:40 pm, according to BC Ferries, in order to accommodate any connecting traffic from the last Queen of Coquitlam arrival into Langdale Terminal (Gibsons) from Horseshoe Bay (West Vancouver).

The delay is due to a modified schedule on the Horseshoe Bay/Langdale route in effect today

Queen of Coquitlam is sailing in place of Queen of Surrey on the Horseshoe Bay/Langdale route for the remainder August 11 due to a crewing issue on Queen of Surrey, according to BC Ferries. Customers with bookings are being asked to check-in according to their original sailing times.
