1. April 3
4200 block Westview Avenue
Police responded to a theft from a vehicle. Sometime during the previous night the vehicle was entered and a HP laptop was stolen. The value of the laptop is approximately $800. 2. April 4
Marine Avenue at Fairmont Street
Police stopped a vehicle and spoke to the 52-year-old driver who showed signs of impairment and admitted to consuming liquor. He provided a breath sample, which registered a “fail.” The male was then issued with a 90-day driving prohibition and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
3. April 7
4500 block Harvie Avenue
Police responded to a mischief complaint. A youth had jumped on the hood of a car parked at that location and smashed the windshield. Police attended and made extensive patrols in the area, but were unable to locate the youth. He is described as being six feet tall, skinny and wearing a light-coloured jacket.
