1. April 6 and 7
Brunswick Avenue and Algerine Place
Overnight three vehicles in the area were entered. Miscellaneous items were taken including some loose change. This is another reminder for owners to secure their vehicles while unoccupied and to remove anything of value to help prevent future thefts.
2. April 7
7100 block Alberni Street
A red Ford F150 truck was keyed while parked beside a store. The damage occurred between 7:45 and 8 pm. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to please contact Powell River RCMP 604.485.6255 or CrimeStoppers 1.800.222.8477 (TIPS).
3. April 11
5000 block of Marine Avenue
Powell River RCMP conducted a road block. During this road check a male driving a Chevrolet Blazer was found to be impaired by alcohol which resulted in a 30-day vehicle impound and the loss of his driver’s licence for 90 days.
