Week of April 7 to 13, 2013
1. April 8
3900 block Gordon Avenue
Police received an attempted theft call from a residence, after suspects were interrupted trying to steal gasoline from a garage. Police responded to the call, but were unable to locate suspects in the area.
2. April 11, 12
Grief Point area
Police received 15 separate theft-from-auto calls between Glacier and Penticton streets. In each case suspects targeted unlocked vehicles.
3. April 13
Kelly Creek Road
Police responded to a report of a home being broken into. An HP laptop was taken. The matter is under investigation and any one with information about this incident is asked to please contact Powell River RCMP 604.485.6255 or CrimeStoppers at 1.800.222.8477(TIPS).
