1. December 9
Zilinsky Road
Police stopped a vehicle heading east while conducting a check stop in that area. The 43-year-old male driving the vehicle was unable to produce a driver’s licence, and record checks indicated he was prohibited from driving. The driver is facing charges of driving while prohibited and will appear in court in January 2012.
2. December 10
7300 block Abbotsford Street
Police responded to a report of a stolen truck. Sometime between 1 and 4:30 am on December 10, a brown 1981 GMC pickup truck was stolen from that location. The vehicle was located the same day at around 6 pm at a dead end on Harwood Avenue.
