1. December 9
7100 block Duncan Street
Between 11:30 pm and the following morning at 8:45 am a Black Suzuki dual sport motorcycle with licence plate U21594 was stolen. The motorcycle was described as a street legal dirt bike with knobbed tires. 2. December 12
6800 block Alberni Street
A number of items were stolen from a business, including three Rab Zephyr jackets, two Patagonia red shirts and two pairs of Patagonia grey pants. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please contact Powell River RCMP 604.485.6255 or CrimeStoppers 1.800.222.8477.
3. December 15
Marine Avenue and Jasper Street
An older black two-door Acura Integra was pulled over by police. The driver demonstrated signs of impairment and ultimately refused to provide a breath sample. As a result the driver’s vehicle was impounded and licence seized. The driver also faces the possible Criminal Code charges of driving while impaired and refusing to provide a breath sample.
