1. February 14
Police received two separate calls reporting telephone frauds. Someone claiming to be from a large computer company called them, and told them to log into their computer because they had detected a virus on it. When they refused to log in, the caller hung up. Police would like to remind everyone that if they feel someone is trying to defraud them on the phone, they should hang up and notify the police.
2. February 18
Highway 101 near Zilinsky Road
Police responded to a collision. A trailer came loose from the truck that was towing it, and struck a BC Hydro pole. The pole was damaged and a line came loose. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
3. February 19
7500 block Duncan Street
Police responded to a mischief complaint at a business. A clay planter was thrown at a window, causing the planter to smash. The window did not break and no entry was made into the business.
