1. February 19
Block Bay
Police responded to a theft complaint. Sometime during the previous night, 400 to 500 litres of diesel fuel were taken from a storage tank. An inverter and extension cord were also taken from that location. This is the fourth theft from that area in the past couple of months. In previous thefts, outboard motors, fuel and boom chains were stolen. 2. February 20
Marine Avenue
Police stopped a vehicle heading north for not having any licence plates. After speaking to the 27-year-old male driving the vehicle it was determined that he had consumed alcohol. The male provided a breath sample which registered a “fail.” He was issued a 90-day driving prohibition under the Motor Vehicle Act and his vehicle was impounded.
3. February 23
3700 block Manitoba Avenue
Police responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle. Sometime between February 21 and 22, a black Ford Escape parked at that location was entered and an Asus notebook computer and an XBOX 360 were taken from inside.
