1. January 15
North harbour
Police responded to a report of a break and enter. A 28-foot powerboat was entered sometime between December 24, 2012 and January 13, 2013. Approximately $400 worth of alcohol was taken from inside. It is believed that entry was gained through a pried open window. 2. January 17
7100 block Duncan Street
Police responded to a mischief complaint at a business in the 7100 block of Duncan Street. Sometime during the previous night, a Toyota pickup truck parked at that location was vandalized. A rock was used to smash the rear passenger side window and the ignition appeared to be tampered with. 3. January 20
Joyce Avenue near Richmond Street
Police stopped a vehicle speeding southbound. After speaking to the 41-year-old driver, it was determined that he was currently prohibited from driving and had consumed alcohol. The driver provided a breath test which registered a “warn.” He was issued a three-day prohibition under the Motor Vehicle Act and will appear in court for charges of driving while prohibited.
