Information session and entrance exam
At 12:30 pm on Sunday, July 26, there will be an RCMP career presentation at the Powell River RCMP detachment, located at 7070 Barnet Street, Powell River. Constable Samantha Haldane from Island District Headquarters in Victoria will in attendance. There will be an entrance exam at 2:30 pm following the information session. 5100 block Joyce Avenue
Powell River RCMP attended the scene of a break and enter at a public facility. One of the offices had been broken into sometime overnight and a large amount of sports memorabilia was stolen.
