1. July 5

Willingdon Beach

Police received a report of the theft of two wallets from the volleyball court. The wallets had been removed from purses that were left unattended while the owners used the court. One wallet is described as black leather containing a quantity of cash, and the other a pink Coach brand also containing a quantity of cash. 2. July 5

5500 block Maple Avenue

Police received a report of the theft of two bicycles. One is described as a blue full suspension Norco NX and the other a grey Norco. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to please contact Powell River RCMP at 604.485.6255 or CrimeStoppers at 1.800.222.8477 (TIPS).

3. July 9

6200 block Lund Street

Police received a report of extensive damage to a vacant house. 4. July 10

Police received a report that between July 7 and July 10 a number of boats were entered at the Shinglemill floats on Powell Lake. Items identified as missing include an Eagle Depth Finder, yellow hammer, flashlight. Other items are believed to be missing. A black 12-foot inflatable boat with 15-horsepower Johnson outboard motor was stolen at the time.
