Kamloops Street at Joyce Avenue
Police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection. A Nissan pickup had rear-ended an ambulance three times before getting hung up on the rear step. The 53-year-old driver of the Nissan attempted to leave the scene but was restrained by an off-duty paramedic and an off-duty police officer until police arrived. The driver faces several charges including assault, uttering threats and dangerous driving. The investigation is continuing and more charges could be recommended. Drugs and alcohol are believed to have been a factor in this incident.

Saltery Bay
Police received a report of a theft of a boat. The investigation has established that the boat went missing on July 21 sometime after noon. The boat is described as a 2010 18-foot Hurston runabout with a Yamaha 150 four-stroke outboard motor. The hull is white in colour. The name of the boat is Francine.
