4500 block Marine Avenue
Police responded to a report of a theft. A Norco mountain bike valued at approximately $800 was stolen from that location. The bike was recovered a short time later and returned to the owner. A 26-year-old male has been charged with theft under $5,000 and will appear in court later this month.
March 14
7200 block Jordan Street
Police responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle. Sometime during the previous night, a red Ford truck parked at that location was entered and a black leather wallet was taken from inside. Recently, there have been several reports of vehicles being broken into. Powell River RCMP would like to remind vehicle owners to lock their doors when the vehicles are not occupied.
