Highway 101 at Stillwater Main
Approximately $2,500 of lumber was stolen. The lumber was in various lengths of 1”x6” and 1”x8”. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please contact Powell River RCMP 604.485.6255 or CrimeStoppers 1.800.222.8477 (TIPS).

Highway 101 at Sutherland Avenue
Two chainsaws were stolen from the rear of a pickup truck while the truck was parked at a business. Approximately a month earlier, on April 2, a lawn mower was stolen from a business in the 4700 block of Joyce Avenue. After full investigation these two crimes were linked together and resulted in an arrest. The male faces three counts of Theft Under $5,000 contrary to Section 334 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
