6900 block Alberni Street
Police responded to a mischief complaint at a business. Sometime during the night of April 19, the east wall of the building was tagged with yellow spray paint. Manson Avenue
Police received a report of a motor-vehicle collision. A vehicle heading southbound near the bird sanctuary struck a bear as it was crossing the road. Neither the bear nor vehicle sustained any damage as a result of the collision. Police are reminding drivers to be aware of wildlife on the roads as summer approaches.
