5500 block Marine Avenue
Police received a report of a theft from a vehicle. Sunglasses, a laptop computer and an iPod were taken from the vehicle. The laptop has since been recovered, but the value of the remaining items is approximately $450. 2. April 29
3500 block Joyce Avenue
Police observed a vehicle speeding through a school zone. The 61-year-old driver of the vehicle was stopped. While speaking with the driver, police noticed signs of impairment and the driver was given a breath test which registered a “fail.” The driver’s vehicle was towed and he was issued a 90-day driving prohibition under the Motor Vehicle Act.

Marine Avenue
While on patrol in the area, Police located an intoxicated male. The male was taken back to the detachment and lodged in cells until he was sober. He was released when sobered up and issued a violation ticket for being intoxicated in public.
