1. November 6
6900 block Courtenay Street
At approximately 10:30 am police were called to a report of theft. Sometime after 7 pm the night before, an unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle at that location and stole a Samsung Galaxy tablet. 2. November 10
5300 block Timberlane Avenue
Police are investigating two incidents which occurred in the early morning hours. Just after 3 am, a male entered a building where numerous people were sleeping. When approached by security the male fled on foot. Patrols in the area failed to locate the suspect who was described as being five feet eight inches tall and wearing black pants. He was carrying a guitar case.
In the second incident, just before 6 am police responded to an alarm at the Cranberry Firehall. Upon arrival several firemen were on scene and had a male subject detained. The male had a guitar case with him. The male was taken into custody and the investigation is ongoing.
