1. September 25
4700 block Ontario Avenue
Police responded to two separate thefts from vehicles. During the first incident, that occurred around 1:03 am, approximately $5 in change and $400 in personal items (including two hunting knives and a pair of binoculars) were taken. The second incident took place that same night and a small amount of change was stolen. 2. September 28
Padgett Road near Highway 101
While on patrol police observed a vehicle that had been driven off the road. After speaking to the 18-year-old driver of the vehicle it was determined that he did not have a driver’s licence and was prohibited from driving. As a result the vehicle was impounded and the driver is facing charges of driving while prohibited.
