1. Mid-September to early October
First Narrows, Powell Lake
A cabin located beside the southern tip of Goat Island was broken into. A large quantity of alcohol was reported missing along with other items varying from toilet paper to cooking supplies. 7000 Barnet Street
The passenger side window of a 1997 Cavalier was smashed while the car was parked in a business parking lot. A package of cigarettes and a lighter were taken. 3. October 25
Highway 101 near Lang Creek
A 1997 Geo Tracker lost control on a wet portion of the highway and slid off the road. The vehicle rolled over then ended up on its side. Malaspina Volunteer Fire Department attended along with BC Ambulance Service. The driver and the two-year-old passenger were unharmed.
