1. October 24
4600 block Marine Avenue
Police responded to an attempted break and enter at a restaurant. A pane of glass was broken on the outside door although entry was not gained. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to please contact Powell River RCMP 604.485.6255 or CrimeStoppers at 1.800.222.8477.
2. October 25
Ash Avenue at Oak Street
Police responded to a report of a suspicious male observed putting graffiti on the back of a white van. The male was described as five feet 10 inches tall, wearing a grey sweatshirt, baggy jeans and a white baseball cap and walking with a golden retriever. 3. October 27
Harwood Drive at Highway 101
Police observed a vehicle spinning its tires. After speaking with the 22-year-old driver it was determined he had consumed alcohol. A breath sample was obtained which resulted in a “fail.” The driver was issued a 90-day driving prohibition and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days under the Motor Vehicle Act.
