1. September 30
Highway 101 and Whalen Road
Two anonymous complaints were received about a highly intoxicated female who had driven into a ditch. The female driver was able to get her vehicle out of the ditch and continued driving toward town. The vehicle was located in town and during the subsequent vehicle check numerous signs of intoxication of the driver were observed. The driver provided two breath samples, failing each. Her driver’s licence was seized for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
2. October 3
Arbutus Avenue at Poplar Street
At 4:50 pm an older pickup truck was travelling south with a trailer attached. The truck attempted to turn left but collided with an oncoming truck. Both vehicles were towed as they were no longer drivable and both drivers and one passenger suffered minor injuries.

Highway 101 at Saltery Road
