1. September 7 to 10
6800 block Invermere Court/Myrtle Point Golf Course
A set of golf clubs was stolen from a vehicle while it was parked at one of two possible locations. The clubs are valued between $4,000 to $4,500 and are described as: Bushnell Range Finder-Titleist driver; Ping woods (x3); Cleveland Nike wedges; Adams Hybrid golf club; Taylor Made irons.
2. September 8 to 9
6200 block Lund Street
Someone spray-painted a building. To date no suspects have been identified.
3. September 9 to 10
6900 block Invermere Court
Sometime overnight a purse was taken from an unlocked vehicle while it was parked. It is described as a brown leather purse which contains the owner’s identification and a small amount of cash.
4. September 14
Highway 101 north of Craig Road
At approximately 7:30 pm a Chevrolet 3500 crew cab truck was travelling northbound and lost control after hitting a soft shoulder and over-correcting. As a result, the truck flipped over. Emergency services attended the scene. The driver was transported to Powell River General Hospital with minor injuries and was released shortly afterwards. Alcohol was not a factor.
