1. September 12
Marine Avenue at Burton Street
Police attended a motor vehicle incident. A Ford Escape was travelling south on Marine and after activating a left turn signal and slowing down was rear-ended by a Ford Explorer. The driver of the Explorer was issued a Violation Ticket for following too closely contrary to Section 162(1) of the Motor Vehicle Act.
2. September 15
4800 block Joyce Avenue
Police were called to investigate a hit and run motor vehicle incident that had just occurred in a parking lot. A female driving an older Dodge camper van with a For Sale sign on it, backed into a parked unoccupied black Silverado causing significant damage to the passenger side door. The female driver did not stop and drove away from the scene.
