Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) has issued a drug alert for the qathet region.
Orange pebbles sold as fentanyl in the region tested positive for para-fluorofentanyl and benzos, according to VCH, and the substance has caused overdose.
As part of the drug alert, VCH provided the following information:

- Be aware of increased risk if mixing with other drugs, including alcohol
- Use with others around or at an OPS
