A BC Ferries travel advisory indicates that as of 11:15 am, Tuesday, January 7, the North Island Princess is currently operating 36 minutes behind schedule.
According to BC Ferries, it took extra time to safely remove a spare generator from the deck of the ship.
“We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience you may experience as a result of this sailing delay,” stated BC Ferries in the travel advisory.
“Our goal is to inform our customers as early as possible of any changes to our scheduled sailings.
