One COVID-19 case reported in qathet region from October 17 to 23

Total is two fewer than previous reporting period (October 10 to 16)

BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) reported one COVID-19 case in the Powell River local health area from October 17 to 23.

Three cases were reported the previous week (October 10 to 16), following four cases being reported in the local health area from October 3 to 9.

One COVID-19 case was announced in each of the three previous reporting periods (September 26 to October 2, September 19 to 25 and September 12 to 18). Five cases were reported in the local health area from September 5 to September 11.

The cumulative total of positive COVID-19 cases for the local health area from January 2020 through September 2021 is 120, according to BCCDC.
