BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) reported one COVID-19 case in the Powell River local health area from September 12 to September 18.
Five cases were reported in the area from September 5 to September 11, one fewer than the previous reporting period (August 29 to September 4) when six cases were reported.
The previous three reporting periods (August 22 to 28; August 15 to 21; August 8 to 14) each resulted in the announcement of two cases. From August 1 to 7, four cases were reported.
The cumulative total of positive COVID-19 cases for the local health area from January 2020 through August 2021 is 110, according to BCCDC.
