BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) reported one COVID-19 case in the Powell River local health area from September 19 to 25, the same total as the previous reporting period (September 12 to 18).
Five cases were reported in the area from September 5 to September 11, one fewer than the August 29 to September 4 reporting period, when six cases were reported.
The previous three reporting periods (August 22 to 28; August 15 to 21; August 8 to 14) each resulted in the announcement of two cases. From August 1 to 7, four cases were reported.
The cumulative total of positive COVID-19 cases for the local health area from January 2020 through August 2021 is 110, according to BCCDC.
