Powell River RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person.
Charles Yvon Mercier, 35, has been missing since Friday, September 11, but police were not notified of the Powell River man’s disappearance until Tuesday, September 22.
Mercier was last seen walking along Willingdon Beach Trail with an acquaintance. Despite an intensive ground and air search conducted Friday, September 25, Mercier has still not been located.
The missing man is described as a white male, 5’6” tall, weighing 135 pounds. He has short brown hair and brown eyes. Mercier was last seen wearing blue jeans, a brown t-shirt, light gray jacket and possibly had a backpack on.
