Three people involved in an incident at Town Centre Mall last week are facing charges of criminal harassment.
Powell River RCMP responded in large numbers to a complaint that a gun had been pointed at a pedestrian around 4:45 pm on Thursday, March 14. Police stopped a red Ford pickup truck in the Canadian Tire parking lot.
The occupants were arrested and the vehicle searched. No firearm was located, however.
The three people from the truck are facing charges of criminal harassment and will appear in Powell River Provincial Court on May 29.
According to the police, all the parties involved in the incident are known to each other and the victims were targeted.
