Sunday, July 15; Chilco Avenue, 6300 block
At 3:10 pm, Powell River RCMP received a report of a theft from a boat parked at a residence; the theft occurred at 12:40 pm. An unknown male and unknown female had taken multiple life jackets from the boat while also carrying two full backpacks of unknown items. The female was described as being first nations, 35 years of age with dark hair, wearing a blue shirt and carrying a black backpack. The male was described as having a long grey beard, wearing a light brown hat and blue shorts, and carrying a red backpack.

Sunday, July 15: Michigan Avenue, 4300 block
At 6:59 pm, Powell River RCMP received a report of a break and enter to a school. An unknown male was observed exiting a window while carrying a blue backpack. The male was then observed leaving the location on a small BMX bicycle. Upon investigation, it has been determined that this may be a repeat occurrence by the same male.

Wednesday, July 18; Marine Avenue, 4600 block
At 10:06 am, Powell River RCMP received a report of a break and enter that had occurred at a business the previous night. Upon investigation, it was determined that an unknown male had entered the business and stole various electronic items including cell phones and tablets. The unknown suspect is described as having a slim build and wearing glasses, blue jeans and a light grey long-sleeve shirt with a dark grey t-shirt over top with “Adidas” written on the shoulders.
