Powell River RCMP reported the following for February 21 to 26, 2019.

February 24; Kemano Street (at Manson Avenue)
At approximately 1:12 pm, police responded to a report of a single vehicle collision at the intersection of Kemano Street and Manson Avenue. A vehicle struck a large rock after failing to make a turn at that location. The 79-year-old female driving the car sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
February 25; Sycamore Street, 6300 block
At approximately 1:21 pm, police responded to a break and enter report. Sometime around noon that day, a person entered a residence and stole a black Yamaha electric guitar and a Harmony banjo valued at around $160. A witness advised that a group of teenagers was seen in the back alley a short time before the break and enter took place.
February 26; King Avenue, 6400 block
At approximately 12:33 am, police responded to an attempted theft. An unknown person was seen attempting to open the door of a vehicle at a residence in the area. Police attended but the suspect had already fled. Police made extensive patrols in the area to locate the suspect but were unable to do so.
