Powell River RCMP reported the following for October 24 to 30, 2019.

Break and enter: 3
October 25; Bowness Avenue, 4500 block
At approximately 9:22 am, police responded to a break and enter. Sometime during the previous weekend, a shed was broken into and a chainsaw, angle grinder and electric impact wrench were taken from inside. Value of the stolen tools is in excess of $500.
October 26; Michigan Avenue, 4400 block
At approximately 9:29 pm, police responded to a report of a stolen bike. Sometime between 12 pm and 9 pm that day, someone entered the storage unit, cut the bolt holding the locked bike and stole the bike. The bike is described as a Giant Escape with a silver frame, black seat and mirror, and is valued at approximately $700.
October 26; Crofton Street
At approximately 2:17 am, police stopped a vehicle after the driver failed to stop at a stop sign on Michigan Avenue. The 25-year-old female driving the vehicle showed signs of impairment and admitted to consuming liquor. A breath sample was taken that registered a “warn.” The driver was issued a three-day driving prohibition under the Motor Vehicle Act.
