November 11; Marine Avenue, 4000 block
At approximately 11:32 am, police responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle. Between 7:30 and 11:30 am, someone entered a garage at a residence and went through a vehicle parked inside. A purse and wallet were stolen from inside the vehicle, which contained $180 in Canadian currency, identification and bank cards.

November 13 to 15; Powell River
Members of the North Island Integrated Road Safety Unit were in Powell River conducting traffic enforcement. As a result of the enforcement, five impaired driving investigations were conducted resulting in several vehicle impounds and driving prohibitions. In addition, members of Powell River and Texada Island RCMP conducted three impaired driving investigations resulting in further impounds and driving prohibitions. RCMP would like to remind the public that as the holiday season gets closer more alcohol and drug impaired driving enforcement will be conducted to keep roads safer for everyone.

November 17; Joyce Avenue, 5000 block
At approximately 2 pm, police responded to a report of a theft from Powell River Recreation Complex. At approximately 7 pm on November 16, someone stole an Intel Compute Stick from one of the TVs at the complex. The device is valued between $350 and $500. Video surveillance showed the suspect was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, a hat and medical facemask.
