Powell River RCMP reported the following for June 30 to July 6, 2022.

July 2; Willingdon Avenue, 4400 block
At approximately 7:03 pm, Powell River RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious dirt bike on the ferry from Comox to Westview Terminal. Police attended and located the dirt bike as it was ridden off the ferry.
Police stopped the rider and after conducting checks on the bike, determined that it was stolen out of Comox in 2021.
The rider, a 38-year-old female from Powell River, was arrested for possession of stolen property. She was released and will be appearing in court at a later date.
