September 20; Cranberry Street, 6700 block
At approximately 2:10 pm, Powell River RCMP received a report that a female had stolen mail from a mailbox. The witness provided a description of the female, who was later located by police. The 39-year-old suspect was arrested for theft and released to appear in Powell River Provincial Court.

September 20; Malaspina Road, 9300 block
At approximately 12:47 am, Powell River RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover. Police spoke to the female driver, who was uninjured and the sole occupant of the vehicle. Police detected signs of impairment by alcohol and the 29-year-old was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. The female was transported to the RCMP detachment where breath samples were obtained by a qualified technician. The samples were over the legal limit, so the driver was issued a 90-day driving prohibition and will appear in provincial court at a later time.

September 17; Marine Avenue, 4500 block
A pair of roller blades were found and turned into the RCMP detachment. Police are seeking the owner, who is asked to contact the detachment for return of their property. The owner will need to provide an accurate description matching the property that was turned in.

September 15; Joyce Avenue, 4500 block
An Apple watch was found behind the Salvation Army and turned into the RCMP detachment. Police are seeking the owner of the watch so their property can be returned. The owners will need to provide an accurate description matching the property that was turned in.
