Powell River RCMP reported the following for May 3 to 9, 2023

May 4; Willingdon Avenue, 4400 block
At approximately 3:46 am, Powell River RCMP was on patrol at Westview Ferry Terminal and noted some personal belongings scattered outside the main ticket booth. Upon further investigation, police located a female crouched down in the main ticket booth behind a locked door. The 49-year-old female was arrested for break and enter, forcible entry and trespass at night, and released to appear in provincial court.

May 7; Saturna Avenue
At approximately 1:28 am, police received a report of a male who was throwing rocks at the windows of a residence on Saturna Avenue. The suspect was known to the resident and was believed to be intoxicated. The 26-year-old man was arrested for mischief under $5,000 and released to appear in provincial court in August. 

May 8; Manson Avenue
At approximately 1:32 am, Powell River RCMP received a request from Powell River Fire Rescue for assistance at a three vehicle motor vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of Manson and Joyce avenues. A vehicle travelling northbound on Manson turned left in front of another vehicle and a collision ensued. All three vehicles sustained significant damage but there were no major injuries to the vehicle occupants. A violation ticket was issued for failing to yield on left turn contrary to the Motor Vehicle Act.
