City of Powell River Council has appointed eight members of the public to a select committee on city-owned properties.
At a rise and report at the May 18 city council meeting, mayor Ron Woznow reported that at the May 12 closed council meeting, council appointed the select committee members. They include: Jim Agius, Tom Anderson, Ben Bouchard, Sara Dent, Dan De Vita, Rachel Driedger, Stephen Miller and Lisa Moffatt.
Woznow thanked all those who applied and said their involvement in the community is appreciated.
