Powell River RCMP look into Willingdon Beach mischief complaint

Damage and theft occurred during the night of October 27 at the campsite

Willingdon Beach was the scene of a recent mischief incident being investigated by Powell River RCMP.

At approximately 9:22 am on October 28, Powell River RCMP responded to a mischief complaint at Willingdon Beach Campsite.

Sometime during the night of October 27, someone climbed onto an electrical box near site #55 and bent the tower down, damaging the WiFi booster. A sign was then ripped down and thrown onto the beachfront, and an extension cord used for the pop machine was stolen.
